Site audience and purpose
Researchers and academics are the primary audience for this site. Documents are published from a wide range of research projects.
It is also intended that the site act as an educational tool to inform the public.
Site navigation
The site is divided into five main topics; namely:
- About Us provides information about the Human Rights Committee.
- Rights in Cayman highlights human rights in the Cayman Islands.
- News & Events for campaigns, videos, newsletters, etc.
- Complaints details human rights procedures and cases.
- Your Say lets you comment on human rights in the Cayman Islands.
The Site Map is recommended as an alternative aid to navigating the site.
Page layout
Pages on the site conform to a standard format.
The banner menu provides links to the main topics from each page of the site. Click on the HRC logo image to return to the homepage.
At the foot of each page is information on the date the page was published or last modified, the primary contact details for the Human Rights Committee, and other useful links, e.g. terms and conditions, access keys, feedback, etc.
The left column, except on the homepage, shows a local menu specific to the section of the site currently being visited. On many pages the left column also shows quick links to other related pages.
