Local Legislation
The Cayman Islands Human Rights Committee (HRC) is grateful for the opportunity to comment on forthcoming legislative proposals in respect of their compatibility with internationally recognised human rights. This is an important function, which enhances the credibility of the HRC and will, it is hoped, make a positive contribution to the sensitivity that future legislation displays towards human rights.
